Appearance Features:
Front: Black fiber mesh, usually with radial reinforcing ribs.
Back: Black plastic grille structure for good airflow, with three locking lugs on the edge for installation.
Function: Specifically designed to remove kitchen fumes and odors. This filter must be installed when the range hood cannot be fitted with an outdoor exhaust pipe (or when using internal recirculation mode) to purify the air and re-exhaust it indoors.
Replacement Cycle: Recommended replacement every 3-6 months (depending on cooking frequency), as the activated carbon will become ineffective after saturation.
